James Brosowske is one of the current shareholders in BMS, and serves as President of the firm. He has been in the Accounting and Consulting industry since 1974, serving as advisor and consultant to clients as well as serving as outside controller to small and medium sized businesses. He has a broad service profile that includes auditing, general business consulting, management consulting, control system, tax planning and regulatory compliance. He has also worked with a wide range of industries including manufacturing, real estate, construction, distribution and retail sales organizations.
Mr. Brosowske began his career in 1974 as a Senior Auditor for Checks, Simon and Rosner in Chicago. After serving in that role for three years, he moved to Dallas and became Senior Audit Manager for Kenneth Levental and Company. In 1987 he moved to Adami, Lindsey and Company as a Partner in that firm before founding BMS in 1988.
Mr. Brosowske is a 1974 graduate of the University of Illinois where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant in both Texas and Illinois and a member of the American Institute fo Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He is active in the Dallas Chapter of the TSCPA, serving in several roles for the organization.
